Tax Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated tax leader with 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to oversee tax staff and lead tax engagements for a diverse roster of clients.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and/or review tax returns, including corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and non-profit returns
Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting, including research, projections, planning, compliance, consulting, and financial statement preparation
Supervise and train less experienced tax staff
Advise clients while building professional client relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA license or EA designation
5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibilities
Understanding of tax law with the ability to perform effective tax research
Experience independently managing tax notices and audits across multiple taxing jurisdictions
Strong communication, organizational, and PC skills, including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (CCH software proficiency is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff, and develop strong client relationships
