Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities

  • Work independently and with other staff on compilation, review and audit engagements
  • Prepare various business entity tax returns
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Supervise staff accountants
  • High proficiency with technology
  • Travel to various clients as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in public accounting
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Experience with the following software a plus:
    • ProSystem fx Engagement
    • PPC Smart Practice Aids/Checkpoint Tools for PPC
    • CCH Axcess Tax
    • ProSystem Fx Fixed Assets
    • QuickBooks Online & Desktop

Entry-Level Staff Accountant

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare adjusting journal entries
  • Assist in the preparation of Compiled, Reviewed and Audited Financial Statements for various types of clients
  • Assist with audit fieldwork
  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
  • Research and correct account discrepancies
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses
  • Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented & professional
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills

Bookkeeper / Administrative Support

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Communicate with various firm clients daily to meet full charge bookkeeping needs
  • Assist firm clients with setting up bookkeeping systems
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to efficiently perform bookkeeping duties
  • Prepare client quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
  • Prepare client monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
  • Prepare personal property tax declarations
  • Tax administration support, including 1099 preparation

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Well-versed in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction
  • Ability to work independently
