Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking a dedicated team member with recent public accounting tax experience to work on accounting and auditing engagements for a diverse roster of clients.

Job Responsibilities

Work alongside and under the supervision of senior management on compilation, review, and audited financial statement engagements for various types of clients.
Assist clients with bookkeeping cleanup and account reconciliations, and maintain depreciation schedules
Basic tax preparation for individuals and small businesses

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA candidate
1+ years of recent public accounting experience
Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Strong communication, organizational, and PC skills, including Microsoft Office
CCH software proficiency is a plus
Ability to multitask, communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff, and develop strong client relationships
