Steve Moalli, CPA

Steve Moalli CPA, CGMA is a lifer at Bailey Scarano, having joined the firm in 2007 immediately after earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University. His love of numbers and helping small businesses and organizations succeed has paid off as he’s risen through the firm’s ranks, from staff accountant to partner in 10 years.

As leader of Baily Scarano’s Credit Union Services Division, Steve truly believes in and supports the credit union movement, that to this day still operate under the motto, “Not for profit, not for charity, but for service.” In addition to pulling from his experience working with different size clients in an array of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and construction, he also loves learning everything he can about his for-profit and nonprofit clients’ so he can create successful accounting and tax strategies for them.

To offer even more advanced strategies, Steve is completing his Master of Taxation at the University of New Haven. In addition to being a member of the AICPA and the Connecticut Society of CPAs, he also serves on the New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council and is a past recipient of the New Haven’s Finest Award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The North Haven native now lives in Northford with his unrequited high-school love (she gave him a chance after college) and wife, Cristina, and their three sons.
